| Farm Bureau Names Choice Hotels ‘Business Partner of the Year’ |

Washington, DC - AFB, Inc., recently presented Choice Hotels International, Inc., and Mary Sarkis, regional vice president of intermediary marketing, with its first-ever “Business Partner of the Year” member service award. The prestigious, inaugural award serves to recognize one member service partner that has gone above and beyond in establishing and growing its services to Farm Bureau members.
“We appreciate the service that Choice Hotels provides Farm Bureau members and look forward to continuing and strengthening a strong, positive relationship,” said Brad Eckert, general manager of AFB, Inc. The 51 Farm Bureau affiliates in each state and Puerto Rico selected Choice Hotels as the first-year recipient for the award because of the strong relationship the company has built among the American Farm Bureau Federation’s 6.2-million member families. “Working with the leadership of each of the state Farm Bureau affiliates and at the American Farm Bureau has been incredibly rewarding,” said Sarkis. “The membership of this organization is composed of the best that America has to offer and I’ve loved having the opportunity to meet, work with and learn from so many of them.” A dinner honoring Choice Hotels and Sarkis will be held Sunday, Jan. 11, 2009, at the American Farm Bureau Federation annual meeting in San Antonio, Texas. |
