Lenexa, Kansas - John Deere announces that it is now providing its dealers with the capability to upload their used equipment inventories directly from a dealer's John Deere inventory system to eBay. This new capability will allow dealers to list their used agricultural and lawn and garden equipment on eBay, from the same system that they also use to list their used equipment inventories on Deere's  used equipment Web site, in Google Product Search, and partner Web sites.

"John Deere dealers will now be able to take advantage of the popularity of the eBay platform to give their customers the ability to find John Deere used equipment and purchase it through eBay's bidding platform," says Michael Gause, division manager, remarketing services. "This means potential John Deere customers can now more quickly find used John Deere equipment from authorized dealers at the best price."

This new technology enhancement will help dealers load equipment into the MachineFinder Web site and also add it to their own eBay store.

"We are always looking for ways to help our customers find the equipment they need and to help the dealers sell more used equipment," explains Gause. "This online channel is one way to ensure that we give our dealers cutting-edge tools to sell more."

The integration between Deere's used equipment Web site, http://www.machinefinder.com, and eBay was done by Deere's Web site development team, using eBay's publicly-available API for developers. Search engine optimization strategies and tactics were recommended by KoMarketing Associates, LLC.
